Obama shows “fiscal responsibility” in War on Terror

When Bob Woodward’s new book Obama’s Wars is released on Monday, the veteran reporter’s work will reveal intimate details of the president’s decision-making process in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Some of the exchanges and interviews have been published in anticipation of the book’s release, revealing infighting and a stubborn determination by Obama to limit the military’s presence and capabilities in fighting what his administration has called an “overseas contingency operation.”

”I’m not doing long-term nation-building,” Obama told Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates.  “I am not spending a trillion dollars.”

Apparently, the president has decided his nation-rebuilding efforts–as well as trillions of dollars–would be best used in the United States.  Why spend money on a nation such as Afghanistan when there’s so much to remake and reform in the Obama/Marxist image right here at home?  And programs that derail an economy and make the populace dependent upon a central Government cost money.
