UPDATE, 4/22/10: Johnson receives Obama’s endorsement for the 2010 election…
Rep. Hank Johnson, a supporter of all things Obama, was questioning whether the U.S. should station additional naval personnel on the island of Guam when his true fears were revealed. As you watch, just keep in mind… a wide majority of people in his district sent him to Washington. He cast a vote for socialism. And he’s concerned about global warming. If you ever needed evidence that it’s time to clean out our Capitol, here’s Exhibit A:

Reminds me of the time on Galveston during spring break back in the ’70s. They had a raucous party on West beach and it caused an earthquake. Wolf was not stating an opinion, he was making an educated guess using the facts at hand. Fact one-Hank Johnson has very little knowledge of simple concepts. Fact two-one of the most common places you can graduate high school with that level of knowledge is a public school. The hypothesis is an easy step from there. Incidentally, he was dead on the money. Not only did Hank Johnson ‘graduate’ from a government school, but one in the District of Columbia no less. That’s right, folks! Big surprise there.
The worst school system in our country is run right under the noses of our politicians themselves, and Hank Johnson is a product of that system. Hank Johnson and the voters who put him in office are what you get when you turn the education of your children over to the government.
Please, home school or find a private school for your children. Their lives are too precious to turn over to the government.

As the Marine gentleman mentioned, the island seemed pretty stable to those of us who were stationed there. God bless the admiral who dealt with this idiot. God help this nation when that type of genius seems to be the norm for decisions we will all have to live with.
Stupid! Yes people like him need to be given other jobs, not be in Congress possibly making life and death decisions. He reminds me of some of the people I went to HS with who went into Govt., work because they were to incompetent to handle anything else. Remove him and give him his choice of menial jobs and supervise him closely. Above all do not make his a bomb technician.

I can see the objection to testing to be registered to vote – but perhaps a civil service test to run for office is in order. Most liberals are not tolerant of this nonsense and I am sure Mr. Obama is not a fan of this guy nor would he want to be associated with him.
Sadly, Obama has just endorsed him for re-election. Sad because Obama could care less about the content of character, only the big “D” next to their name on the ballot.

Question for the Wright’s ?? Did I miss something?? This guy has not known if he is a foot or horse back all of his life. How this guy ever got elected is beyond everyone that have watched this video. You may want to check his record along with congressperson Waters who is another joke. If you look, you will find there are many, many in the house and senate just like these idiots. In fact I think BO has been surrounding himself with idiots ever since he was elected to the senate. What ticks me off, is these idiots will live off us for the rest of their life and longer. I wish we could vote them out without pay. But the least we can do is vote them out and get our country back.

i’ve also heard that this congressman was on a committee responsible for the home mortgage crisis……it was a brilliant plan to stop people from moving to california and buying homes there…..the goal was to lower california’s population so it would not tip over into the ocean. it was expensive, yes….bit it saved countless millions of lives, and protected the environment…..
I also thought it was a brilliant plan… brilliant but flawed. The Army Corp of Engineers (not corpse as Obama calls them) still have to fill in the San Andreas fault with silly putty. Silly putty because it will move during an earthquake but will still be sticky enough to hold the two sides of the fault together.
It reminds me of a bumper sticker I once saw. It was in the form of a “tongue-in-cheek” prayer. It simply said,
“Dear God, PLEASE never let us get all
the government we are paying for…”

Get a new president, Vice president the whole bunch. Our Constitution is the basis of our country. the problems we are now facing will not be solved until we have (1.) term limits, (2.) clean house in Nov.2010 and 2012, (3.) have an amendment to our Constitution that puts all the American people, government and private citizens, under the same health and retirement plans.

I thought this buy was great. Great for everytime he opened his mouth he was able to put both feet in it. It is unfortunate that most all our elected officials are doing the same on the Democratic side. Our president is articulate but thats all. I believe that he is pushing socialism so hard that 2012 will not get here soon enough. We need to vote out all of these socialist pigs. It is unfortunate that these guys will still get a hefty chunk of change from the tax payers for their mis-deeds. It seems like the Democrats don’t have a mind of their own and can’t read the bills that come up to be voted on. They just vote Democrat period. If it said that they will all be impeached after voting for it being it was brought to the floor by a Democrat they will vote for it. OOPS I think we should have read it first. I rarely, if ever, remove comments from the blog, as everyone should have a right to weigh in from their experience/perspective, but to make Hank Johnson a representative of all black Americans is to make an incorrect, counterproductive oversimplification. However, if you want to ridicule a majority of voters in his district for sending him and, previously, Cynthia McKinney to Washington, so be it. Regardless of race, any bloc of voters with that sort of track record needs to feel a little embarrassment.

I do not believe Rep. Johnson is an isolated incident in our government. We have a seated president that believes the U.S. consists of 57 states. Now, he has about the same IQ as Rep. Johnson or he has the U.S. confused with his old/true fatherland.
I’m sorry, I cannot ‘applaud’ the patience shown by the Admiral here. If he had instead responded by asking, “Are you serious?… Do you actually think an island can tip over?” it would’ve gotten national attention and MORE people would’ve known just who we have running Washington these days.

In 1972 we had over 150 B-52,s on the southern tip of the island each weighing around 130,ooo lbs when empty. with fuel and bombs they weighed 480,000 lbs and we had 2 and a half crews per aircraft plus maintenance people and equipment I wonder why it never tipped over during those years
