A wonderful trifecta from the always-entertaining Barney Frank.
by Michael Naragon
First, a National Press Club speech from 2006 in which Frank assures the crowd that there is no real housing “bubble,” and that the price correction of 10% will be a good thing for America. He also discusses the problems of regulation and tells the crowd that deregulation is necessary to bolster the market. Hardly the usual fare from a liberal and the polar opposite of what Frank said after the housing crash.
Secondly, Bill O’Reilly grills Frank over his assurances that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were in good shape.
And, finally, Paul-Shanklin-as-Barney-Frank, singing about the financial crisis as the “Banking Queen.”

The quote is priceless! Great post!

I can’t get the picture of Barney frank tiptoeing through yellow tulips or marijuana plants(depends if he’s at his boyfriends house), while wearing a tutu.
LOL! Barney Frank is a fwail.
