Is the change we need? Or has the president finally brought the openness to Washington that he continually promised during the campaign?

In his Vote 2010 initiative, Obama is surprisingly honest, admitting that ethnic groups, young people, and women powered him to victory in 2008. He calls on those same groups to counteract the conservative backlash–presumably made up exclusively of white, elderly men–to power Democrats to congressional victories in 2010. I’m sure there’s more of this sort of divisive rhetoric to come from the man who was supposed to have united us in ways undreamed of in a post-racial America. Good work, Barack. Here’s hoping that this election push goes as well as his attempts in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
With as many times as this administration and its supporters have thrown the race card, is anyone unclear about the fact that he’s playing with an illegal deck?
